The Sports Buff ⚽️ ⚾️ 🏈

After scoring 15 all out in this years BBL, I The Sports Buff was starting to wonder if my old school team started playing professional cricket. The resemblances were uncanny.

They made 15 all out, and once upon a time, so did we. But Sydney Thunder who are former BBL winners have since had players scoring 50’s woooooo indeed.

To make you rub your eyes and clear your ears out, Sydney collectively made 182 all out, 12 times more than that abysmal 15 all out scored against Adelaide Strikers.

Matt Gilkes (37) , Rilee Roussouw (39) and Daniel Sams (36) all amongst some runs. If you thought that was good sports fans, those chaps from Sydney Thunder won by 10 wickets the other day.

In case you were thinking it to clarify, they weren’t chasing 9 to win, they were chasing 122 to win. No one likes a show off guys. As a result of this win Sydney Thunder are fifth in the table behind city rivals The Sixers who are in fourth.
