Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc won the Monaco Grand Prix, his home Grand Prix to continue defending world champion Max Verstappen’s recent indifferent form. The Red Bull driver for his standards has been struggling of late, winning just once in his last three races.
Australian Oscar Piastri in his McLaren was second and fellow Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz was third. World champion Max Verstappen finished in sixth.
Having initially won five of the first six races, this latest defeat, or latest failure to not win this race means that there’s a now 31-point lead between him and Ferrari’s Leclerc.
Red Bull racing driver Max Verstappen will be hoping that his team can get back to winning ways when they go Canada, next.
