Two matches, both games produced undeniable drama and excitement. Champions League holders PSG were up against Bayern Munich, in a repeat of the Covid final where Kingsley Coman scored the only goal to help The win their sixth European crown.
Arguably, I was the only person to think that both games were going to be tight tactical affairs; that’s tomorrow’s game, I think, where Arsenal will come up against Atletico Madrid.
In tonight’s games, starting with the blockbuster at the Parc De Princes, it seemed like the game had everything: drama, intensity and goals. O and a penalty for either side.
The match finished 5-4. One would be forgiven for thinking they were watching a basketball match. Tonight’s spectacle was refreshing to watch. This was a match where two teams were going hell for leather to win the game.
Although Paris Saint-Germain will take a slender lead to The Allianz Arena, football won this evening, bravo. In England’s Championship, there was also a big game being played between Southampton and Ipswich.
This was a high-stakes game, just like the Champions League game, was. Both sides were fighting for automatic promotion. , and just like the Champions League game, it didn’t disappoint. This game was just the four-goal thriller.
In all my life, rarely have I seen two wonderful games being played on the same day/ This is why I am capping the phrase ‘Terrific Tuesday’ (Patent Pending), you know the way Sky Sports use Super Sunday.
With Arsenal playing tomorrow, maybe tomorrow could be called Wretched Wednesdays? I am joking, Arsenal fans. Cut me some slack, please. My team has jumped from 16th last term to third this term.
