League Two strugglers Forest Green Rovers have appointed player-coach Troy Deeney as their new Head Coach.
The former Watford captain joined Rovers in the summer
and with the 35-year-old taking this job, this sees him take his first job in football management.
Deeney replaces David Horsman, who left his role just five months after the FA Cup exit to Blackpool.
After enjoying a period of sustained success under former boss Rob Edwards, the appointment of Troy Deeney sees Forest Green appointing their fourth manager in just 19 months.
