When you ‘rode a motor bike’ as a kid

Hello, good evening sports fans, I hope you’re well, looking after yourself and are in good health. Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls .. you guessed it, we’re going down memory lane again.

How many times we go on this road, we might as well by a house there! But all tongue and cheek aside, who remembers riding their bikes and playing out when they were kids. Raleigh mountain bikes and the BMX bikes was the rage back then, and think it still is now?

An honourable mention goes to the racing bikes, the slimline bikes that even have an rrp of £1,000 plus! Sir Bradley Wiggins and Sir Chris Hoy us mere cycling mortals are not, but I want to cast your memory back to when you were riding a motor bike.

Not a literal motor bike (unless you’re in Pakistan, who seem to teach kids how to walk, then ride a motorcycle), but when you would put a crushed can between your front brakes.

That’s it, that’s all you do. Doing this, won’t increase the speed, but boy did it make a growling sound (until the can dropped off). When the inevitable does happen and the can falls off, you’re back to normality of riding your bike as normal with no growling sound.

Which isn’t terrible, but you don’t get that feeling of being Moto GP champion Valentino Rossi.

Because I love you guys. Use this code 5q8sjr3f at the check out and guess what? I have only gone and helped you guys get 15% off! And it gets better with free world wide shipping!
