Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest have sacked Sean Dyche after just 114 days in charge. In a chaotic season for The Pine Trees, Dyche, a local who grew up in the area, brought a legendary coaching team with him.
Former Forest midfielder Ian Woan was part of Sean Dyche’s coaching team, and I argue was hired alongside Dyche to appease supporters who no doubt have been a bit miffed and bewildered after a poor showing this season.
Nuno was the man in charge to start the season, but he would be replaced by Ange Postecoglou, who would be replaced by Sean Dyche. This kind of hiring and firing is something one might be accustomed to at Championship side Watford.
Don’t get me wrong, Nottingham Forest’s owner isn’t patience personified by any stretch, but usually they get to see the season out. Maybe Mr Marinakis is getting a bit grumpy in his old age?
Vitor Perriera, who worked under the Greek owner at Olympiakos, has been in talks regarding taking up the reins at The City Ground.
