The Championship only features one midweek match as two teams need to play their game in hand, but the stakes are high for this fixture.

Ipswich Town host Hull City as both teams sit in the play-offs, seven points ahead of seventh place and six points behind the top two.

The Tractor Boys won their last two matches, defeating Watford 2-0 away from home before comfortably securing a 3-0 victory against Swansea City.

As for The Tigers, they have also won their last two fixtures with a 4-2 triumph at the MKM against Derby County before making the long trip to Portsmouth worth it with a 1-0 win.

Both teams want to secure a strong position in the top six, but they have a great opportunity to contest for the automatic promotion spots, especially Ipswich who still have another game in hand which could help them overtake Middlesbrough.

The 19:45 kick-off takes place at Portman Road, and judging by the records of both sides, it’s going to be very hard to predict.

Ipswich have the second best home record in the second tier of English football, unbeaten in their last 12 home matches in all competitions.

Hull have the second best away record in the Championship, earning five successive away victories for the first time since 1966.
