People looking at you as if you’re weird? No, no .. they don’t know it was an intense moment? This was the closest I was going to get to the famous run up to bowl 22 yards, even if it was in my head.

What was better than the imaginary bowling, was your friend pretending to be the batsmen facing the bowl you bowled. Friends like those are friends for life. I call mine my twin brother, but others have their own friends.

Growing up when you’re a kid seems like a pinnacle, but now I am 35, it’ not quite what it’s cracked up to be. Yeah, well fatherhood is awesome and playing cricket (backyard cricket with my nephew is good), but the original form of cricket? Well that’s the imaginary kind.

Honourable mentions for sports when you were a kid were toy fighting (WWE wrestling, I know you have suplexed your sister or in my case her big bear). The Last Ride is something I have done on my brother and Rock Bottom too

Tag is another activity done predominantly when you were a kid, but I am now are that’s a professional sport. So kids for all of those who thought you were wasting away your life perfecting tag, then maybe this could be a way to the food on the table.
