Former Chelsea, AC Milan, Roma and Besiktas forward Tammy Abraham for a fee in the region of £18 million, on a four-year deal. Abraham, who has been on loan previously at Villa Park, joins the Midland side, who are looking to close off another impressive season with a trophy, maybe.

If Unai Emery is able to do this, it will end a 30-year trophy drought for the club. Spaniard Emery, except for Arsenal, has enjoyed success where he has been as a manager, even winning a trophy at unfashionable club Villareal.

Tammy Abraham’s arrival gives current first-choice striker, Ole Watkins, some much-needed support and competition.
