Having been rumoured to be planning an International comeback, Shoaib Malik has announced his retirement from the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Malik, 43, would have been 44 by the time this year’s HBL PSL would have started.

This news, although a shock, does make sense as not even the ultra-fit Shoaib Malik can go on forever. In a PSL career that spanned over 93 matches, the former Pakistan captain scored 2,350 runs, where he turned out for Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans.

All the best on your retirement.
