National League North side Macclesfield secured arguably the biggest shock of the third round and one of the biggest in the history of the competition with a 2-1 win over FA Cup holders Crystal Palace.
In round four, The Silkmen will be hosting another Premier League side in the form of Keith Andrews’ Brentford at Moss Rose Stadium. Two giant killings in two? One can never rule out such a thing.
Premier League side Brighton, got the prized scalp of Manchester United and will face Liverpool at Anfield as their reward in round four, who overcame some early luck to beat Barnsley 4-1.
In-form Wrexham, who defeated Premier League side Nottingham Forest, are rewarded with a home tie against fellow Championship side Ipswich Town. the full draw is listed below.
