Ange Postecoglou has been confirmed as the new Nottingham Forest boss, after replacing Nuno Espirito Santo, who was sacked from his role after 21 months. The Greek-Australian Postecoglou makes a swift return to the Premier League after being sacked by Tottenham in the summer.
The 60-year-old former Celtic manager takes charge of a Forest side that’s spent £180 million on transfers this term. Expectation will be enormous on Ange, but if his media performances are anything to go by, he’s someone who will clearly rise to the occasion.
Bayer Leverkusen and Fenerbahce were linked with the former Australian manager, but it’s Forest and arguably the lure of the Premier League that Ange couldn’t turn down.
Nottingham Forest travel to Arsenal in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
