Every man and his dog, in the sporting world, has an opinion on this, so naturally, here at The Sports Buff, we’re going to offer our opinion too. Pep Guardiola, the current manager of Manchester City, is regarded as one of the greatest managers of the Premier League era.

Whoever says sit, sit down, calm down and behave yourself. Just for good measure, wash your mouth out with soap as well. After Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton, their second in a row, I am not jumping on the bandwagon, but I am jumping into the fact that mobile is a growing trend.

Guardiola is ONE of the best managers in the Premier League. Because life is often judged by success, managers like Eddie Howe and David Moyes take a back seat in this discussion. Despite both having worked wonders in their respective flagship clubs, Bournemouth and Everton, they are often overlooked.

Howe (Newcastle) and Moyes (with former club West Ham United) pulled off some superb achievements. Thanks to the achievements of Eddie and David, both clubs saw their lengthy waits for a trophy come to an end in style.

The Spaniard had rightly earned plaudits; he has broken some impressive records.

After all is said and done, however, Sir Alex knew how to evolve a team, time and time again.

Pep Guardiola has done this a few times (evolving the team), but this time he’s been a bit slow to do so.

At present, on the whole, if City have no Rodri, then they’re beatable; but if they do, they’re superb, like they were against Wolves.

Typically today, Man City had to prove my theory wrong. Rodri was on the side, but an ever changing centre-back pairing and having a goalkeeper with shaky confidence might be the reason for Man City’s woes.

It’s a peculiar one, but what’s your view, sports fans?
