After seeing last year’s star player, Bryan Mbuemo, leave for Manchester United and Yoann Wissa, all but leave for Newcastle, Brentford can celebrate some good news this summer in the form of Dango Outtara joining the club in a club record £42.5 million deal.

Outtara, 23, is an attacking midfielder/forward who filled in admirably for Evanlinson as Bournemouth’s main striker, due to the Brazilian being long-term injured.

The Burkina Faso international scored 11 goals in the South Coast. Due to players like Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert shining very brightly last year, it was going to be difficult for the youngster to shine. Still, when called up in the Premier League or otherwise, he did do enough to shine, in humble opinion.

Former Cherries boss Gary O’Neil signed Dango Outtara in the January window of 2023. The Burkina Faso forward made enough of an impact to help the South Coast club survive that year.
