Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heun Min will leave the club this summer after 10 years at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

The former Bayer Leverkusen attacker was signed by former manager Mauricio Pochettino in 2015.

Since signing for The Lillywhites, the South Korea captain hadn’t won a trophy with the club until last season, when Tottenham defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the final.

Brennan Johnson scored the winning goal. Spurs skipper Son was one of the few survivors remaining from the golden team of Pochettino’s time at the club, where the North London side got into the Champions League final and a semi-final of the FA Cup.

At this point, it’s not clear if Tottenham will be signing a replacement; however, it’s advisable if they do.
In terms of Son Heun-Min’s next destination, one would think the MLS beckons.
