Former Coventry, Bournemouth and Newcastle striker Callum Wilson, 33, has joined West Ham in a 12-month deal. The 33-year-old left St James Park last term after disagreeing on a new contract.
One potential stumbling block in the deal could have revolved around playing time. Wilson, during his time in the North East, despite impressing, did spend prolonged periods on the sidelines.
Callum Wilson had a medical with The Hammers on Saturday, which he passed. The signing of Wilson sees him become the fifth player to join West Ham this summer.
