First it’s Tijjani Reijnders and now it’s Theo Hernandez. The Frenchman Hernandez is set to return to where it all began for him (Atletico Madrid) all those years ago. 

AC Milan is facing upheaval next season, and a ball hasn’t even been kicked. Yunus Musah is another set to depart the San Siro in a transfer, which will see him move to Napoli to further pile on the post-season gloom. 

It was bad enough that they finished as low as they did in the table (eighth), which means there will be no European football next season, and because of that, the Rossaneri are paying the price. 

We all know Max Allegri is good, but Milan will need him to be even better than he has been in the past. It’s times like this when stars are born. Fikoyo Timori stepped out of one shadow and into his own, as did Pierre Kalulu when key players had to be sold in the past. 

The situation is now the same. Here’s to hoping AC Milan adapt to this situation. A situation that’s resulted as a consequence of FFP.
