Hello, good morning, dear reader. I hope you’re well, looking after yourself and in good health. Today, we need to talk about an essential issue in the world of sports, football, and, to be more precise, Real Madrid’s likely outgoing manager, Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti is a five-time Champions League-winning manager, more than anyone else. More than Pep and more than Sir Alex. In fact, if you put both together, then they’re equal to Don Carlo’s five Champions League wins.

Despite this, one gets a sense, just like in his last spell, that the legendary Italian coach’s end is nigh. Since re-joining the club from Everton, this is the first challenging season he has had with Los Blancos.

I say that by Real’s standards. Most teams’ reaching a cup final and being second in the league is an achievement. For Real Madrid, it’s a disaster!

To cast your mind back in history books, the respected Vincente Del Bosque, a World Cup winner and Euro’s winning manager lost his job with the now 14-time Champions of Europe even when he won La Liga the previous season.

If he is sacked, which, as you know, I feel is hard done by, then Carlo Ancelotti will be able to leave the Bernabeu with his head held high.

Rumours are circulating that Carlo Ancelotti is being lined up for the job in Brazil. These rumours are not confirmed, but they are old rumours that have circulated in the past.

For a well-decorated manager like him, the chance to be a manager at one of, if not the greatest, footballing nations in the world is a cherry on top of what has been such a sweet-tasting career.

Xabi Alonso, Mauricio Pochettino, and Jurgen Klopp, who has reportedly opened talks with Real, have all been linked at one point to arguably the biggest job in club football.
