Championship strugglers Plymouth produced one of the biggest shocks of all time after they dumped Premier League giants Liverpool in the fourth round, courtesy of a Ryan Hardie penalty.
The Reds, who are into the Carabao Cup final, through to the last 16 of the Champions League, and leading the Premier League, had a side far from full strength.
Arne Slot, the Liverpool manager, made 10 changes to the side that swept Tottenham aside in midweek. This could be made as an excuse, but the fact of the matter is The Pilgrims were the better side.
Despite their struggles domestically, which saw former manager Wayne Rooney lose his job earlier in the season, that didn’t deter the home side Plymouth, who defied expectations for a great win.
The FA Cup draw is on Monday 10th February.
