Ruben Amorim is set to secure his first signing as Manchester United boss with the signing of Lecce and Denmark full-back Patrick Dorgu. The 20-year-old left-back has impressed in Serie A and has caught the attention of the Red Devils boss as he needs players who can fit into his wing-back system.

With Dorgu, it’s believed he’s tailor-made for the system. This imminent signing, which is being confirmed as a long-term signing by Fabrizio Romano at this point, will no doubt cast doubt on the futures of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

Both talented players have been injury-prone, which will mean that Man United will be able to strengthen in one of their weaker areas on the pitch.

At six foot two, Dorgu could be a solution to help United deal with set pieces. The reported fee for Patrick Dorgu is €30 million.
