Al-Hilal striker Neymar has reportedly sealed an emotional return to their boyhood club, Santos, after agreeing to take a pay cut to join the Brazilian giants.

The former Barcelona and PSG forward, who is still the world record transfer, has shown glimpses of his undoubted talent, but injuries have sadly stalled the momentum that his career could have used.

Neymar’s time at PSG is the most prominent example of this. No longer the main talisman of his country, Neymar JNR’s career is reaching its twilight. If these rumours are true, then returning to where it all started is one of the best ways to go out.
