Former Manchester United striker and Coventry City manager Mark Robbins is set for a return to management with Championship Stoke City. Robbins, who managed The Sky Blues from League One to within a whisker of the Premier League, takes over the job of Narcis Pelach.
Of course, Pelach was on Norwich’s coaching team, and he replaced Steve Schumacher, whom The Potters snapped up from Plymouth. Stoke was once a very attractive proposition.
However, Stoke City has been anything but an attractive proposition since their tenure in the Championship. But in Mark Robbins, they will have a man who is very capable of succeeding in the job.
