On Sunday, Spurs won 3-0, which flattered Man United. Onanna, the much-criticised Cameroon goalkeeper, was the United man of the match. If the former Inter-man had not made the saves he did, their goal difference would have been even worse!

After such a defeat, it’s easy to go overboard, but Man United fans. Ten Haag has signed all the players he wanted, and very few of those signings have worked out.

Now, with The Reds getting in as a director of football, they have players based on ETH’s preference. Why get a Director in if you won’t help him source the players?

At Ajax, the former Utrecht coach Ten Haag enjoyed success as Overmars and Van Der Sar sourced the players. Maybe it’s the same thing at United, but why are things so disjointed?

The man needs time. The argument often is that Rome wasn’t built in a day, but please, this is painful and difficult to watch. With Liverpool, for example, they have signed one player, but they (Liverpool’s players) knew what they were doing and what their jobs were in matches before they signed said player.

Arne Slot’s Liverpool has been excellent despite signing just one player, Federico Chiesa, from Juve. His Liverpool team has been outstanding, bar the game against Nottingham Forest.
It’s incredible how there could be such a contrast between the two teams.
