Spain and Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta is expected to announce his retirement from all forms of football next week. In his career, Iniesta won everything that club football had to offer to win.

Internationally with his country, Spain, the veteran won the Euro 2008, the South Africa World Cup in 2010 and the Euro 2012 tournament, making him part of the first international side to win three trophies in succession.

Andres Iniesta will be missed by many in the football world. He is one of the players who, I argue, is just like Brazil’s Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, and the opposition fans, deep down, like him, too.

In other Barcelona news, Wojciech Szczesny is expected to come out of retirement to join The Catalans on a short-term deal.
