Premier League newcomers Southampton have agreed a £25 million deal with Arsenal for Aaron Ranmsdale. The former Bournemouth keeper who formerly played for Sheffield United too, moves to St Mary’s to get his once very promising career back on track.
Where he moved to may be a bit of a surprise due to his allegiances with The Cherries, but Ramsdale needs game time and in the last season and first few games has since those minutes dwindled.
For Southampton, this is a great capture. Aaron Ramsdale can help them survive a potential relegation this season due to the experience he has gained whilst being with Arsenal.
As for The Gunners, only time will tell how big of a blow this will be.
