Manchester United midfielder is set to move to Napoli for €30 million, after the Italians had a €25 million turned down by The Red Devils, as per Sportskeeda. With United chasing PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte, a departure was always likely.

Despite publicly wanting the Scottish player to stay, it turns out that Napoli have offered a deal good for Man United to turn down. Here at The Sports Buff, we were more of the opinion that they should have been more proactive in selling Caesemiro.

At least Manchester United agreed to a form of first refusal in the deal for McTominay. Scott McTominay’s contract length isn’t clear at this time.
