They have made quite the impression, since stepping into the sports shirt sponsor world. Hailing from the mighty Manchester, ladies and gentlemen, I bring you Castore!

For those of you who might not be 100 % sure what Castore is, well it’s a clothes brand, that had a logo like a bird. After agreeing sponsorship deals with Rangers, as well as England’s and West Indies cricket team, the Manchester brand turned things up a notch.
Three exciting brands have been signed up, but the powers that be at Castore opted to agree terms with English giants Aston Villa and let’s just say Castore and them were never going to work.
If you’re going to have a design flaw in the shirt, that once worn it brings up a lot of sweat, then things were never going to work out. Sadly for Villa and Castore, this is what was happening with their shirts.
The sweat that was coming off the shirts was abnormal. Not able to find a remedy for the problem, Castore reluctantly enabled Aston Villa to opt for a break in the clause, which was well within their rights.
A sad end to a deal which promised so much for both parties. Fast forward to this coming season and Castore have agreed to another shirt deal with a giant of Premier League football, Everton, the 14-time English champions.
Dear reader, if you think I am going to relay a tale about Everton’s kit getting drenched, this is not the case, football fans in Everton’s last game against Sligo Rovers, the Everton shirt’s logo conspired itself to peel off Everton’s Shirt.
No cutting at the material, this was a pure act of nature. How Idrissa Gueye, the player whose shirt went viral due to the gaf, would no doubt have been hoping the stake.com part, would just peel off.
I have no words, and I am sure Castore are the same, let’s hope for their sake this doesn’t happen again. Sadly since this article was first printed, it’s emerged that Bayer Leverkusen the German Bundesliga winners are ending their kit deal due to stock issues.
