After West Ham came agonisingly close to completing the deal, Premier League rivals Manchester United have completed the signing of Morocco right back Nousassir Mazraoui on a five-year deal.

The former Ajax man joins The Reds in a separate deal to the one initially planned where club-mate Matthijs de Ligt will also be joining the Moroccan at Old Trafford.

United bosses are working hard to thrash out a deal for de Ligt behind the scenes, but that agreement has reached gridlock. The arrival of the Moroccan Mazraoui will almost certainly see Aaron Wan Bissaka leave the club.
