Pep, you’re doing it again, or if your word is to believe fate is doing it for you, you’re going to sell a prized asset this year, your goalkeeper Ederson. The Kevin De Bruyne links I could understand, Phil Foden is there waiting in the wings and I don’t know if Oscar Bobb could be involved more for example.

In the case of Ederson, although Stefan Ortega is a good goalkeeper, the German is no Brazilian keeper Ederson. The former Benfica man is a Premier League Golden Glove winner.

Mr Morais, at times, could save anything, the one-man, man mountain. It begs the question why is he doing this? I think I have the answer, it’s that Pep Guardiola is playing his annual game with us that he has been playing for the past two seasons prior.

Two seasons ago, I opened up my laptop, and angrily typed that Pep was a bald fraud (fans we have heard that phrase a lot last season, about the other fellow down the road), and he has lost the plot.

Then he sold Sterling and Zinchenko, and City that year won the league. Last year, they sold Gundogan, or shall I say he left the club. Madness I thought it was at the time when the news was confirmed of the former City skipper leaving the Etihad to join Barca.

Now, that brings us to this season, according to the Man City skipper himself, Ederson is not a guarantee to stay at the club. This is the part where I say, Pep! Don’t do it! Throw the chequebook at the issue if anything and make sure Ederson stays.

But then again, after two years of going through this, I am gonna say I reckon they will be ok after all Man City have won the Premier League for seasons in a row.
