Slovakia produced one of the biggest shocks of the tournament so far after beating World Number three side Belgium 1-0. This defeat for The Red Devils was their first in 15 games, but more importantly, puts them on the back foot for group qualification.

Domenico Todesco’s men had chances, in particular, it was Roma’s on-loan forward Romelu Lukaku, the guilty party of missing several chances. VAR did come to the Slovakian’s rescue, such as Belgian sub-Louis Openda being penalised for handball, which was very harsh.

Although not a great start for Belgium, they are far out of this tournament, it’s just been one game. What this result might do is force boss Tedesco to make some personnel changes.
