Former Shrewsbury, Manchester City, Tottenham and Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has announced he will be retiring at the end of the season. The former England number one had 75 caps for his country.
The 36-year-old with his current club Celtic come the end of the season, would have been there for three years. In his time, down South, Joe Hart has won five out of the six trophies available in Scotland.
When Pep Guardiola arrived at Manchester City, it appeared that his City career was over, but not only that, it appeared that Joe Hart wasn’t able to perform at the top level anymore.
Failed moves to Torino, Burnley and Tottenham left many clubs doubting if Joe Hart could offer their club anything. Celtic, gave Hart a lifeline and in this time he has been able to get his career back on track.
Congrats on your retirement Joe Hart.
