Legendary manager Roy Hodgson has announced he is stepping down as manager of Crystal Palace. The 76-year-old, who has formerly managed England and Liverpool amongst other sides, has opted to stand down after needing to go to the hospital for the second time in quick succession.
The Eagles have acted swiftly to the news of Hodgson departing Selhurst Park now and have brought in Europa League winning Oliver Glasner as coach. Glasner was linked to the job at Nottingham Forest, but the 49-year-old would lose out on getting the job to Nuno, formerly of Wolves.
Former Austria defender Glasner has signed a deal with Palace till June 2026.
