Brazil coach Fernando Diniz has lost his job. The Fluminense was combining his role with the Copa Libertadores and the Brazilian national team.
Under Diniz’s guidance, the five-time World Cup winners are languishing in sixth place in the South American qualifying group.
The search for Fernando Diniz’s replacement has begun, well the Brazil FA thought the 49-year-old Diniz was keeping the seat warm for Carlo Ancelotti, who was heavily rumoured to join the Selecao in the summer.
With Don Carlo agreeing on a new deal at Real Madrid, it’s left the Brazil FA for Dorrival Junior, formerly of Sao Paulo.
The 61-year-old Junior has agreed a deal until 2026.
