Champions League winners Manchester City, put their bad domestic form behind them to beat Brazilian side Fluminense 4-0, to become Club World Champions.

Goals from Julian Alvarez, an own goal and a Phil Foden goal helped Man City make light work of their domestic struggles and write their name in the record books.

English sides, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have won this tournament before them, but The Cityzens are the first English side to hold five titles in the calendar year.

It’s been a welcome distraction this tournament for City, who have struggled in this season’s Premier League.

Talking of which, the Premier League champions are welcomed back to Premier League action with a game against in-form Everton.
