Austrian striker Marko Arnautovic has agreed to join Champions League runners-up Inter Milan on a season-long loan deal, from fellow SerieA side Bologna.

The former Stoke striker since joining in 2021 has scored 25 goals in 58 games. Arnautovic was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United last season.

That move didn’t materialise due to negative backlash from Man United fans. Mark Arnautovic also has 108 caps for Austria, scoring 34 goals.

A move to Inter isn’t a first-time thing, the Austria did spend a season at the San Siro in Jose’s 2009-10 season.

Not the most fashionable name on the market to fill the void left by Edin Dezeko’s departure to Turkey, but his goal record shows he can do a job for the Neazzuri.
