Finish fighter Robert Helenius, has answered the call of Anthony Joshua, who saw his rematch with Dylian Whyte postponed due to Whyte failing a voluntary drug test.

The official line is there has been ‘an adverse finding’ when Dylian Whyte took the test.

This news would have come as a blow to Whyte, who was looking to rebuild his career after a crushing loss to Tyson Fury.

So in place of the 35-year Whyte, will be Helenius. You will be forgiven for saying you don’t know too much about him, we don’t either.

Robert Helenius has a record of 32 wins and four losses, he steps in at less than a week’s notice. Helenius’ last big fight was a first-round knockout defeat by Deontay Wilder in October.

With the postponement of the all-British fight between Anthony Joshua and Dylian Whyte, Helenius can really catapult himself into the World Heavyweight title picture.

The 39-year-old is in a win-win situation. The pressure is on you AJ. When a fighter stepped in for a boxer who failed a drugs test in a past Anthony Joshua fight, we know what happened there don’t we?

AJ beware of complacency, the last thing you want is another Andy Garcia situation.
