In a previous article, I mentioned that the F1 circuit should be concerned, as no one can beat Max Verstappen this season, he can only beat himself.
Well, with the Belgian Grand Prix, even though he gave the rest of the track a chance, or at least five cars before him a chance, he still won in Belgium.
The Dutch driver had a five-place grid penalty. Verstappen’s fellow F1 drivers were no doubt thinking, maybe this weekend we win.
The Red Bull driver had other ideas and would still end up taking the chequered flag before anyone else. Max Verstappen’s latest win was his eighth in a row.
This win at Spa-Francorchamps just showed a man who is in a league of his own.
Although there are 10 races left of the current season, Verstappen’s 125-point lead at the top of the driver’s championship is close to being unsurmountable.
The F1 drivers have a bit of a break. The next race will be on race weekend 25-27th August, in Zandvoort, Holland.
