Manchester United have agreed a fee with Atlanta for striker Rasmus Hojlund as they look to close in on their third summer signing.
The 20-year-old Dane will move to Old Trafford for a fee of £64m, plus a potential £8m in add-ons. A five-year deal has been agreed, but all that remains for the deal is for personal terms to be agreed.
That’s not thought to be a stumbling block, so this deal is a case of if and not when. The pursuit of Hojlund has ultimately been a successful one.
Manager Erik Ten Haag a few days ago in a press conference spoke of progress being made in their search for a striker. The Dutchman was being serious as we can say.
Denmark international Rasmus Hojlund will naturally be compared to Erling Haaland, but the former Atalanta man has the goal-scoring pedigree of his own.
