Former Malaga, Real Madrid and Sevilla midfielder Isco has signed for fellow La Liga side Real Betis on a one-year deal.

The former Real Madrid man had been a free agent since December after the termination of his Sevilla deal.

A player that promised so much in his career has had a difficult past nearly half-decade. When Isco was presented as a Sevilla player, 10,000 attended the unveiling.

Then coach of Los Hispalenses Julian Lapotegui was sacked, then Isco Alcoron’s career in Andalucia suffered as a result.

This transfer for Isco, on a one-year deal, sees the player reunite with his former manager at Malaga, Manuel Pellegrini.

At his peak, the former Spanish international was one of the best midfielders in La Liga, let’s hope The Engineer, can engineer some good form into the 31-year-old.
