Justin Kluivert, son of Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert has signed for Bournemouth in what the club has called a ‘long term contract’. The fee for the former Roma man is a reported £9.6 million.

Kluivert Junior first broke onto the scene with Ajax after coming through their academy. In 2018, Justin Kluivert moved to Roma, but unfortunately, on his behalf, his time in the Italian capital didn’t work out too well.

Loan spells with RB Leipzig, Nice and last season with Spanish giants Valencia didn’t materialise into a permanent transfer for the 24-year-old. Justin Kluivert becomes new Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola’s first signing.

Bournemouth start their Premier League campaign at home to West Ham on August 12th.
