SerieA champions Napoli have hired former Roma coach Rudi Garcia as their new boss. The 59-year-old who was in charge of Saudi side Al-Nassr, replaces title-winning coach Luciano Spelleti, who is taking a sabbatical from the game.
The Frenchman, takes charge of The Little Donkey, in what will be a potentially challenging season for the Naples side. Victor Osimehn, Kim Min Jae and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, three key players for Napoli last season have all been linked with moves away from the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
With Spelleti achieving what seemed like a dream for Napoli, new manager Rudi Garcia will have his work cut out, but in a coach like Garcia, he does come with a lot of experience.
Luis Enrique, Julien Nagelsmann and former Poland manager Paulo Sousa were all considered, but De Laurentis the Napoli president chose to hire Frenchman Rudi Garcia.
Wishing you the best of luck in your new role.
