Kylian Mbappe wants to leave PSG. Are you sitting down? No? Sorry for breaking what’s not shocking news any more. Is he isn’t he? Kylian is one of football’s biggest flirts.

But we can’t criticise the Frenchman, can we? All of football’s top stars have done this or are doing this currently. Lionel Messi threatened to leave Barca, then Joan Laporta grovelled to make him stay, so even the GOAT has been never 100% faithful to his one true love.

The 23-year-old Mbappe has completed a big amount of football’s ultimate achievements. A World Cup winner? Check! World Cup Golden Boot winner? Check! Unsurprisingly he has also achieved everything that there is to achieve in France with PSG.

As a writer, I could keep this article in my drafts folder, whilst he’s still at PSG. I liken this story to Paris Saint Germain and Kylian Mbappe being in a girl and Sugar Daddy relationship.

PSG are the Sugar Daddy and Kylian likes the money, and the gifts, but something is missing, when Paris Saint Germain sense Mbappe isn’t happy they bring out the chequebook and add more zeros.

Money can only buy so much, one day the French World Cup winner will still want to leave, money can’t solve everything and fill the void. So who will fill the void for Mbappe, the one that he’s clearly feeling? Is it going to be Manchester United? Real Madrid?

The only person who will be able to answer that is the man himself. At 23, the former Monaco striker is the all-time leading scorer at the Parc De Princes, he needs to be made to feel he is facing some sort of challenge week in and week out.

I believe that Kylian Mbappe needs to go to Real. Los Blancos are silently starting a new revolution. What they did in the early part of this century, they’re doing it again, but this time, the players they’re finding are younger.

Florentino has a plan, that’s clear to see. All that’s needed is Kylian Mbappe for the final piece. Karim Benzema has left the club, so what’s stopping you Kylian?
