A brace from Bernardo Silva, and an own goal from Eder Militao and Julian Alvarez saw Manchester win 4-0 against Real Madrid, as they stormed into their second Champions League final.

Going into the game, we here at the-sports-buff.com did see a Man City win here, but the manner of the win for City was mightily impressive from Pep’s men.

As brilliant as the Premier League champions were on the night, who could have scored more on the night if it wasn’t for Real keeper Thiabut Courtois’ heroics, Los Blancos were poor and maybe subdued as they were second best in both legs.

This defeat for Real Madrid might fast-track the exit of some of Real’ more experienced players such as Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema, the trio have been amazing servants for the club, but just maybe mother time has come to say hello for a catch-up.

Manchester City were just that much hungrier on the night, they wanted it more. City after 12 seasons of getting close, just maybe destiny awaits them on 10th June in Istanbul.

All that stands in their way is three-time winners Inter Milan, which is easier said than done. Football fans, we remember what happened when they last got to the final.
