This emphatic win puts City into the quarter-finals after Pep’s men put on a performance that would have put the rest of Europe on notice. Last year a lack of goals in the big games, but this evening they had no such issue.
They will join Inter Milan who won 1-0 in aggregate after a 0-0 draw in Portugal.

Inter won the first leg 1-0 at the San Siro and are in the quarters for the first time since 2011.
