After the shock the world of football received yesterday, that of the news that Lionel Messi will not be staying on at Barcelona, PSG forward Kylian Mbappe wants to leave the Parc De Princes before the close of this current window too as per Sportbible.
If one bit of big news wan’t enough, the news of Mbappe leaving now instead of at the end of the season, will cause an all night scramble.
The 22 year old Mbappe who is seen as the air to the Lionel Messi throne, has long wanted out of PSG. Despite the tough stance and the public charm offensive of Paris Saint German chairman Nassir El-Khalifi, Kylian wants out.
Why the rush on Mbappe’s side, only he will know that, but with Liverpool (long term admirers of the Frenchman) and Real Madrid also huge fans of the former Monaco, aren’t in the position to realistically by the forward.
Liverpool, Real Madrid, Chelsea and even Tottenham (if Harry Kane leaves) could all be clubs who would interested.
Should this report be true, which usually is with this reputable sports site, it’s puzzling why now?
One reason could be due to the fact that if Lionel Messi comes to Paris, Kylian Mbappe won’t be the main man at PSG anymore, that would hurt any man’s ego and arguably even more Mbappe’s.
