The long awaited all British fight between former world champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been confirmed for 11th December at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The Welsh stadium beat other contenders to host the fight, such as Tottenham Hotspur’s Stadium and Riyadh.
The fight, which as been in the making for arguably the last decade, will be shown on Netflix. Both men who have made comebacks to the sport in the last year, had talked up this bout.
A few years prior, and this might have been the fight, the world wants to see, but now, only time will tell. One can only hope this doesn’t up into a Kell Brook and Amir Khan fight or a Manny Pacqiuao (both anti-climatic).
