Simply put, Pep Guardiola, who after 10 years left his role at Manchester City, is now passing the torch to someone who is ready to be the new Godfather. Mikel Arteta, a student of Pep, winner of last season’s Premier League, is in prime position to take the mantle of the Godfather.

Maybe he should be referred to as the Godfather? But having said that, it’s the longevity factor, which I feel makes Mikel Arteta next in line. All you need to do now is win more League titles and other trophies like Pep did. It’s not that hard, hey?
