In the world of football transfers, clubs like to get their business done early. Thanks to the World Cup, however, things have become a tad difficult. Players want to wait until the tournament is over before deciding their futures.
This has, in a large part, led to a quiet transfer window so far. What I have also noticed in the transfer window is that the market seems really condensed. Mateus Fernandes: a whole host of clubs are in for him.
Bradley Bacola is one, and it seems like Marcus Rashford is another. What I am trying to get at is that clubs need some imagination, I argue. Maybe it’s like this in other windows; have you noticed this before?
