The BetMGM Premier League made its way to Leeds and the Yorkshire fans had a lot of darts to watch as almost every match went down to the deciding leg.

Jonny Clayton kicked things off with a 6-2 victory over fellow Welshman Gerwyn Price who still remains in the top four.

Luke Littler’s checkout accuracy compared to Michael van Gerwen’s proved to be pivotal when he conquered ‘The Green Machine’ 6-5 in the second quarter-final.

Luke Humphries defeated Josh Rock 6-5 in his quest to make the play-offs, while the Northern Irishman still remains at the bottom of the standings after his result.

Stephen Bunting made it to double digits in the table after edging a 6-5 win against Gian van Veen, leaving ‘The Giant’ still two points from the top four.

In the semi-finals, ‘The Nuke’ had a lower average and checkout accuracy against ‘The Ferret’, but was still victorious in a 6-5 win which keeps him as the league leader.

Humphries did not disappoint his hometown as he came back from 3-5 down to victor 6-5 against Bunting in what was a thrilling contest.

In a match we have seen many times before, Littler triumphed in the deciding leg to beat ‘Cool Hand’ 6-5, leaving Humphries with no nights won and three weeks remaining.

It’s all eyes on the remaining two spots in the play-offs as two points separate fourth and fifth between van Gerwen and van Veen.
