Hello, good morning sports fans, I hope you’re well, looking after yourselves and are in good health. Praying you’re well, in good health and enjoying life. We need to talk about football, and to be more precise, the Championship.

As you know, sports fans, I wax lyrical about the Championship. What’s bringing my waxing to the lyrical here in this article is the way they manage to find strikers from ‘obscure Leagues’.

Victor Gyokores, Arsenal’s Swedish striker, was floating in the lower Leagues, but he came from Sweden. Maybe the former Coventry striker isn’t the best example, but Teemu Pukki and this season’s top scorer, Zan Vipotnik, are examples of my point.

The Championship can be a hotbed for talent. Pukki and Vipotnik are examples to prove my point. Swansea’s Slovenian striker has reportedly been heavily linked with Rangers. Haji Wright, a USA International is another player that maybe Premier League clubs didn’t know of at first, but of course they do now.

Logic would say, especially with FFP, that clubs would go to the same places to source talent as the Championship clubs. If there are more Zan Vipotnik’s of this world, then they just might.
